A client contacted me here through Houzz. We met in her home for an initial design consultation and later started to work on her guest suite.
The home is a contemporary Blue Heron built, dressed in my clients style. Lots of art throughout her home inspired me to design this guest suite.
The ultimate goal was to create a classy, timeless, warm and welcoming space for her guests, new grand daughter and herself as she gets older. We built our color palette around this gorgous Brazilian Sapphire Green Quartzite.

I’ve always dreamed of having a clean, modernist home, and I’m happy to say that Alice and her team at Atelier Cohen led the way to making that dream a reality! I couldn’t be more happy with the project, my house looks like it could be featured in a Kinfolk magazine. I expressed my wishes of having a clean, natural interior aesthetic and they truly delivered – the natural light in my newly designed home is to die for.
